  Fantastic scenery. The salt itself gives a particular essence for the place, and the algea which colours it to pink makes the whole lake surreal. It's easy to float on the surface, maximum depth is around 70-80cm. But if it goes into anyone s eyes it needs quick flashing as the salt is really burns the eyes. Applying​ the black mud on the body is fun and washing down is relatively easy but the next thing is the salt itself stays everywhere on the body. It needs to be showered down ASAP. I cycled after 20 minutes and must say it was a challenge

  Surreal experience. Bring plenty of fresh water to rinse yourself and don't nick yourself shaving before going, as I learned to my downfall!

  Beautiful and funny experience. Kids really appreciated. Lake is really pink and you float on top!!

  Can't argue with nature. You float on the salty water and the mud is good for your skin, simple and effective.

  A must visit, take plenty of water, 4ltrs per person to shower with afterwards. Do not get water in your eyes or you will be screaming. Just relax and float on your back doing back stroke, it is an amazing feeling to just float. Also, if you can get past the stench of the black mud, rub it all over you, let dry, and the. Wash off in the lake, hey presto, supper cheap body pamper... Must visit...
