  A quick bus ride from the airport and we very quickly and easily got our brand new rental car. After a quick but thorough inspection by us together with a guy from the Dickmanns team, we were on our way. The car was fun to drive and worked perfectly for the entire time! Return was quick and easy, too! The team even helped us in finding our lost keys, that we had left behind. I can really recommend them, everything went really well!

  As most people has said we like many others are still waiting for our deposit back. Fuel charge was taken off our debit card, we were told when we returned car it would be in our account in 2-3 days this did not happen, tried calling many times and finally got through to Alicante office where they said because of the holiday period it would be paid by the the 6th January, we have still not received our money and no one is answering the phone. Crappy customer service, they take the money straight away but don't pay it back.

  In contrast to some of the other commenters we booked an insurance with the car and therefore the issue of deposit did not come up.

  we like many other people had over a month with many calls to the office before we got our deposit back (after our credit card company got involved) they also said for 2 weeks that the accounts dept had sent us the money. Its a shame really because we find them really easy to use and would use them 3 or 4 times a year if they refunded our deposit on time.

  I have used this firm many times but they are now withholding almost €1000 deposit with no correspondence whatsoever, three weeks over the 25 days terms and conditions. I will be passing this onto my credit card company, insurer and start legal proceedings in Spain.
